I have been looking for documentation on completely uninstalling the
ntop software (installed from source). I have been having severe
stability issues with NTOP running on Redhat EL 4, and have tried
several versions.. (3.1, upgraded to 3.2, upgraded to current_cvs, then
back to 3.1).. I would like to completely uninstall, and re-install to
ensure that the problem is not with old libraries getting in the way.
The issue is intermittent, but won't seem to run much more than 15
minutes tops on our overspeced box monitoring the netflow for our T1
line. I have gotten a few "*ERROR** Bad magic
number" errors that a previous user had reported, and
sometimes there is nothing in the logs at all (running at debug level
