Nope - it means just what it says - it's an unknown/unsupported OS. Stuff like this belongs in ntop-dev, btw.
You can try the I know better override (./configure --help), but it may or may not - probably not - work. If it does work, report it to the list so we know for the next poor sod. -----Burton -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mot Sent: Tuesday, January 24, 2006 1:53 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Ntop] Compile issues w/ Openbsd[Sparc64[ Hello, I'm trying to compile ntop 3.2 from CVS. Granted, the system I'm trying to run this on is somewhat of an oddity - but previous versions of ntop seem to have compile/run ok. The system is: OpenBSD 3.6 GENERIC#304 sparc64 SUNW,UltraSPARC-II @ 296.018 MHz, version 0 FPU configure script shows: checking build system type... sparc64-unknown-openbsd3.6 checking host system type... sparc64-unknown-openbsd3.6 checking target system type... sparc64-unknown-openbsd3.6 Everything is fine, until the end. Output is: ******************************************************************* * * Checking for unique options for sparc64-unknown-openbsd3.6, gcc... * * sparc64-unknown-openbsd3.6 is an unknown/unsupported OS * ******************************************************************* Anybody have any ideas? Can I possibly configure with --build 'insertsystemarcosthatwillwork'? Thanks much for any guidance. _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
