It is what it say it is.
Data covers the period from when a host is first seen until
the time you generate the page. If the host gets purged as idle and then
reappears, it's since it was first seen in the current appearance, i.e. the
prior data is lost.
No - just grab the page and process it out via any
scripting language.

Subject: [Ntop] 2 doubts - Time period for packets Processed,Top 3 contributors
I have 2 doubts
1. Can anyone tell me the time period for which the home page data is relevant ?
I feel that data present in the dashboard and summary- traffic is relevant for a must shorter period say 10 to 15 hours.
However Ntop says,
Total Received (ntop) - 26,854,708
Total Packets Processed - 26,854,708
Also it says that it is sampling for 15 days (Mon Jan 30 12:46:32 2006 [15 days 22:27:19])
Is there a way to know the time period for which the data is relevant?
2. Top 3 IP contributors for a particular throughput.
Summary - Network Load graph when clicked, shows the top 3 contributors for the period. Though I am able to retrieve the total throughput as a xml dump, I was unable to get the top 3 IP contributor in the xml dump. Is there a way to retreive the top 3 contributors?
Regards,
Eashwar N.
