Run an OS that doesn't have to go down as often?

Really, NTOP should be run on a dedicated machine with plenty of ram and
disk space. If you network is small, the box doesn't have to be as
beefy. I run it on an old Compaq laptop for my 50 sub ISP's network.

Subject: [Ntop] Logging issues

Hi all,

I have recently installed ntop on my Win XP box to capture both its and
my LinkSys WRT54GS routers (running the DD-WRT linux firmware) NetFlow
data, but have run into a problem.

It seems any time my Win XP box goes down, all of my information
previously collected does as well. Searching through the prefs and
documentation, I find nothing about logging, and well without that, it
isn't an incredibly useful tool.

The answer is prolly amazingly simple, and I would be most appreciative
to whomever can help me out with this :)

Many many thanks in advance,

::Orion
