for that, you need to use RRD (read the docs) or the "sticky hosts"
option. Sticky hosts uses lots and lots of memory, and when we first
played with RRD, i didn't have it setup correctly, and left it
monitoring the T1 overnight, came in the next day and all 73Gb of hard
drive were filled up with RRD databases. (every host on the internet we
connected to got the RRD files setup.)
