Hi
i am new to Ntop and think its a great network tool, but we want to use if to "monitor" staff who we believe are abusing the Internet and browse the web all day long. I have read that Ntop can be used for this purpose....
my situation:
when i installed ntop on a pc with the nic in promiscuous mode , i was able to click into a hosts details and see some details about the urls visited.
but now i have the device setup with 2 nic's
1.for management
2.all traffic from our firewall trusted side is mirrored to 2nd nic.
i seemed to have lost the ability to see the urls a host has visited ...
can anyone help or suggest a more suitable way to get ntop to "list" and log websites that some hosts have visited.
any help will be appreciated
