AH.. That explains the issue.. I'm using netflow data rather then packet captures.. Thanks! ----- Original Message ---- From: Burton Strauss <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected]; Reuben Fischman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, July 8, 2006 9:47:49 AM Subject: RE: [Ntop] HOst Fingerprinting How is the data getting into ntop? Remember, if you are using netFlow, ntop doesn't see the actual packets. -----Burton -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Reuben Fischman Sent: Wednesday, July 05, 2006 8:43 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Ntop] HOst Fingerprinting Question about host fingerprinting: I grabbed the latest etter.finger.os from ettercap and put it into /etc/ntop/etter.finger.os.gz. When NTOP starts it loads this file, yet when I look at IP -> LOCAL -> HOST FINGERPRINT, it tells me all my hosts have no fingerprints.. Is this a problem with the fingerprint database?
