Hi Scott,

I'm using Mysql to store ntop dump data and then display it on a web page
via php. You could easily modify it to email a report from mysql. Complete
howto can be found at:

Subject: [Ntop] Daily Report

All,
I have NTOP deployed at several locations around my network and it provides
a
wealth of info when I take the time to look at the system(s). I would like
to
find a way of grabbing a "snapshot" or "Daily Report" of the stats at a
point in time and either store it or email it to an admin. The goal would
be to have knowledge about the network during a defined time period without
having to be
looking at the box at that time. If I have a group of users who complain
that
the "Internet was slow" but they fail to tell me for a few days It would be
very nice to go to the log and find the event.

Before I go down the path of looking for some HTMLtoPDF mod in CPAN and
hacking together some spaghetti code (aka perl) to grab the
traffic/hosts/net_load page and then reset the stats, I thought I would
check with ya'll out there in NTOP
land. Anyone already doing this in some form?

Thanks
Scott

P.S. Burton, I hope the new gig is a good one and thanks for you continued
assistance.
