Hopefully this is a simple question that’s been
addressed before. Ntop isn’t showing all hosts or not reporting them
correctly. Here is how I have things physically setup: SwitchA connects to SwitchB’s port 24. I have
mirrored all traffic on SwitchB’s port 24 to SwitchB’s port 12. the
ntop machine is connected to port 12. Internet -> Firewall -> SwitchA -> 5 workstations |
SwitchB -> 20 workstations |
-> ntop machine
SwitchC -> 10 workstations
It is showing all internal traffic and hosts correctly, but
if I browse to ntop.org on any of the workstations it doesn’t show up. It
looks like it shows up as a connection to the ntop machine. If I browse to ntop.org from the ntop machine, it
immediately shows up. Any help is much appreciated! |
