I've loaded NTOP on WinXP (consulting gig, client requirement. I'd use Linux given the choice).

I'm having trouble getting it to produce statistics from Netflow data.

From this table:
NetFlow Statistics

Device 1 - kwaj-ds3-range
Received Flows
Flow Senders
10.1.96.1 [3,082 pkts]

Number of Packets Received
3,082
Number of Packets with Bad Version
0
Number of Packets Processed
3,082
Number of Valid Flows Received
187,696
Average Number of Flows per Packet
31.6
Number of V1 Flows Received
0
Number of V5 Flows Received
0
Number of V7 Flows Received
0
Number of V9 Flows Received
93,848
Total V9 Templates Received
3,073
Number of Bad V9 Templates Received
2,764
Number of V9 Flows with Unknown Templates Received
508

Discarded Flows
Number of Flows with Zero Packet Count
3,074
Number of Flows with Zero Byte Count
0
Number of Flows with Bad Data
0
Number of Flows with Unknown Template
508
Total Number of Flows Processed
184,622

I can see that it is receiving flows. Two things are troubling...

1. The number of discarded flows... How do I get more data on why these are discarded
                and what they are?

2. The fact that in spite of havng 187,696 valid flows received, I still cannot see any statistics
on any of the pages related to flows received from netflow.

I'm completely new to NTOP, so, I apologize for posting a newbie question, but, I haven't been able to find an answer in the documentation (what little there is) and I need to get this working.

Thanks,

Owen
