in short: there are NO DEFAULT credentials in ntop. you must provide
them at first run.
Also, if you have started ntop once already, and you want to change the
password:
make sure ntop is stopped and then start ntop, but instead of the "-d"
command line switch, for daemon mode, give it the "-A" switch.
from the help provided by the binary:
#./ntop -?
.....snip.....
[-A] Ask admin user
password and exit
.....snip.....
