One thing to check is whether your services file has all the entries for
items like "ftp", "ftp-data" etc. as that is how those entries are
translated to the corresponding port numbers which ntop uses to classify
traffic.

Having said that, I have experienced the same problem as you in the past,
and I have not found an answer in either the FAQ or by searching the
newsgroups.

I hope someone more knowledgeable about ntop will explain how you can obtain
details on the traffic being classified as "Other" so that you can update
the protocol list accordingly.

But on the Summary/Traffic/GlobalTCP-UDP Distribution page, I see
reasonable numbers for everything except, at the bottom, where it says
"Other TCP/UDP-based Protocols", I see a really big number:  2.2GB over
about 22 hours.  So, what the heck is this?
