Hi Gary, I'm not sure if the information you need is available in the ntop's RRD files. If not, you could change ntop to dump it to a RRD file and from there to execute queries through RRDtool API. Another way could be get the information directly from the ntop web server (e.g. html extraction by wget).

What I'd like to do is integrate NNM and nTop such that when I receive a "Utilization Threshold" event from NNM, I can enhance/enrich that event with the top n talkers for the interface in question. What I would need is either a MIB for nTop that I could poll for this info, or an API that I could hook into somewhere / somehow. An easier alternative is to embed a URL in the NNM message that links to the throughput page of the node in question. Easy enough, but I'd prefer to embed the top talkers details in the message itself if it doesn't turn out to be TOO much of a hassle. Thanks in advance for any ideas!
