Last month there was some discussion of data counter reset issues. The previous thread appears here (although there's not much detail):
http://listgateway.unipi.it/pipermail/ntop-dev/2007-September/006641.html I believe that I've run into the very problem that the OP describes, and I've spent a little time debugging and otherwise trying to track down the root cause. The specific problem is that the counters output by dumpTrafficData will roll over after reaching 4GB. In the interest of byte conservation, I've entered the details (including steps to reproduce) into Trac: https://svn.ntop.org/trac/ticket/19. My attempts to track down the root cause have been limited to the variables and routines in emitter.c, and I've had no luck. If, short of some type of formal patch, anyone has some specific suggestions for identifying and/or correcting the issue, please fire away. I'm more than willing to patch and test on my end, if it'll save someone else a little time down the road. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
