Apologies, it's a sparc based system ..... typo, due to just installing another
2 x86 based systems also ...
Problem persists, assumed maybe just a switch on startup could fix it, but need
to know what the problem is 1st ....

Not much of a developer and even less
familiar with the internals of Solaris x86, but maybe line 908 in ntop.c?
Also, if it’s x86, why is “sparc” in the
file name? Seems odd.

I have just installed the Solaris 9 x86 version of ntop :
ntop-3.3-sol9-sparc-local
from www.sunfreeware.com and everything is working, other than the following
errors on command-line:
