Hi Everyone When I look at my sflow statistics in ntop, I am getting differences between values that I do not understand.
Looking at the flow statistics in the configuration of my sflow device I get Flow Statistics Received Flows Flow Senders 163.119.xx.xx [13,383 pkts] Number of Packets Received 13,383 Number of Packets with Bad Version 0 Number of Packets Processed 13,383 Number of Valid Flows Received 0 Number of v2 Flows Received 0 Number of v4 Flows Received 0 Number of v5 Flows Received 13,383 Discarded Flows Number of Flows with Bad Data 0 Total Number of Flows Processed 0 So I can see over 13000 pkts sent from the switch, but when I go to summary/Traffic I get the following Traffic Report for 'xxxxxxxx' [switch] Packets Dropped (ntop) 0.0% 0 Total Received (ntop) 131 Total Packets Processed 1 Unicast 100.0% 1 Broadcast 0.0% 0 Multicast 0.0% 0 Shortest 172 bytes Average Size 96 bytes Longest 172 bytes <= 64 bytes 0.0% 0 64 to 128 bytes 0.0% 0 129 to 256 bytes 100.0% 1 257 to 512 bytes 0.0% 0 513 to 1024 bytes 0.0% 0 1025 to 1518 bytes 0.0% 0 > 1518 bytes 0.0% 0 Packets too long [> 1514] 0.0% 0 Bad Packets (Checksum) 0.0% 0 Traffic Total 172 [1 Pkts] IP Traffic 0 [0 Pkts] Non IP Traffic 172 In addition I have no log entries after 11.30 yesterday, I would say it has crashed, except that the web interface is still working and my sflow flow statistics count is still increasing.. What have I configured wrongly, or what do I need to do to please?
