have you tried putting the the temporary databases into tmpfs?
eg. /usr/bin/ntop -P /var/lib/ntop -Q /mnt/tmpfs
i had the same trouble with segfaults and now ntop is now running
for weeks.
Be careful: the netflow RRD-file "throughput.rrd" also lies in
the path specified with -Q
You should save it before reboot.

Well, I'm still getting segfaults, just less often (about every
two or three
days instead of every 2-30 minutes). It's still enough to make
it difficult
to collect the data the client is looking for, but obviously a
lot better
than every couple minutes.
I've just checked out and compiled the latest SVN build, so we'll
see how it
goes...
