Hmmmm. Not sure what you're trying to accomplish - but maybe the Host Clusters may work for you - with a "cluster" of one host? Or maybe define a flow or flows to match the traffic to/from this host?
Not sure why a /32 wouldn't work - some programming oversight maybe.
