Hmmmm. Not sure what you're trying to accomplish - but maybe the Host
Clusters may work for you - with a "cluster" of one host? Or maybe
define a flow or flows to match the traffic to/from this host?

Not sure why a /32 wouldn't work - some programming oversight maybe.

Gary

Subject: Re: [Ntop] Single host in local subnets

If i try /30 or /24 all works but for my (strange!!) network layout i
have to sort in "local nets" only one single ip.....

2008/5/16 Gary Gatten <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

Not sure why you couldn't - but not sure why you would either. "-m
network/mask" is for sorting only, it's doesn't filter or limit what
hosts are seen or not seen on the network. Maybe try a smaller mask -
/30?

Do you have some strange environment with overlapping IP ranges - some
local and some remote?

Subject: [Ntop] Single host in local subnets

Hi all!

Is possible to add a single host in local subnets with the -m switch?

When i try "ntop -o -m 192.168.x.y/32" the host disappear from remotes
but is not included in locals......

Any solution?

Nicola
