ntop can do many things and there is a parameter to save the traffic (check
the man page, I'm not remembering what it is). Plus a filter expression. So
you can sort of get where I think you are going.

But, really, what you want is the WireShark tool.

Subject: [Ntop] Can I extract the payload data?

Hello,

I am interested to extract full TCP conversations from the actual payload
data.
Can I get that through ntop? If so any links or pointers as to how would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Tal
