From what I remember its possible. Not in the office today so can't check right
now. This sounds like an interesting requirement - so you'd have one machine
capturing live frames off the wire and then export via sflow to a remote
collector station?

Subject: [Ntop] configuring ntop on multiple hosts with one collector

Hello everybody,

I am new to ntop and I would like to use it as a richer replacement of
ipac-ng.
As I read FAQ in distribution of ntop (ntop-3.3-94.1 in opensuse11)
there should be possibility to set one ntop on machine A as a collector
and another ntop on machine B as a probe (with sflow as the 'carrier
protocol').

Is this possible? I cannot find a documentation how to set up ntop to
send collected data.

Or do I need nProbe for this?

Thank you,
