I've tried searching for this problem on the unipi list site, as well as Google in general, but have had no jot in finding a solution.
While trying to compile nTop on Centos 5, I'm getting the following error: = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = libtool: install: error: cannot install `libGeoIPUpdate.la' to a directory not ending in /usr/local/lib make[3]: *** [install-libLTLIBRARIES] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/ntop-3.3.9/ GeoIP-1.4.5/libGeoIP' make[2]: *** [install-am] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/ntop-3.3.9/ GeoIP-1.4.5/libGeoIP' make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/ntop-3.3.9/ GeoIP-1.4.5' make: *** [install] Error 2 error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.57243 (%install) = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Is this a known problem, with a documented solution? If so, can someone point me in the direction? If this is new, should I post a bug report fpr nTop, or is this considered a GeoIP problem? I look forward to a helpful response :-) Jason _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
