Network Traffic MapHi All, I am having a hard time getting ntop and netflow to
work properly. I'mnot an expert on cisco or networking.I have a cisco router
that is also my default gateway on my network, that is configured to send a
netflow output on udp port 2058 to my ntopbox. I am running Fedora Core 10 with
ntop installed from rpm ntop-3.3.8. The netflow device has been configure in
ntop.My Problem is that if i look at the network load under summary, thegraph
shows only traffic every 10-15 minutes for a couple of minutes. The traffic
through the router is definitely more constant than thegraph is displaying.
Ntop is also very slow to display the pages in theweb interface. If i go to
edit the netflow device in ntop, it shows over30000 netflow devices. Is this
normal? If i switch to eth0 the network load is constant and ntop web
interfacespeed is normal. I also install ntop on Ubuntu 8.10 but the results
are the same. My questions:Does netflow only send output every 10-15 minutes? Is
there something i should change on the router or in ntop? If anyone could point
me into the right direction on how to configurenetflow with ntop, I would
greatly appreciate it. RegardsFNC
