Did you undefine some of the DEBUG flags? By default some were ON and it caused Netflow to spew out a TON of DEBUG messages to the log. It was this way in 3.3.9 also - at least from my experience and one other on Solaris. I had to comment a line in the netflowPlugin.c. I posted on this but can double check and let you know exactly what I did if you prefer.
