First I would recommend finding a binary for your OS and see if it works OK for 
you with whatever options the package builder used.  If not, then I guess you 
have to compile.

 

I do not know what the current fixed/stable/patched whatever revision of 3.3.10 
is.  The link on ntop.org for stable source is:

I had to get rev 3780 from the ntop SVN server:

 

svn co –r 3780 https://svn.ntop.org/svn/ntop/trunk/ntop

 

3780 has it’s share of issues, but it’s the only one so far I could actually 
get built and installed.  I’m sure some of the issues are my environment and 
ignorance, but it kinda sorta works so I’m sticking with it – for now at least!
