The Anne Johnston Health Station Guidance Counsellor Advisory Committee in
partnership with North Toronto CI., Lawrence Park CI, Leaside High School,
Forest Hill CI, and Northern Secondary School are proud to present an evening
with the acclaimed Dr. Karyn Gordon on June 1st, 2010 at Leaside High School.

Dr. Karyn Gordon is one of North America's leading authorities on understanding
and motivating Generation Y. She is frequently interviewed by national media
(Entertainment Tonight Canada, Globe & Mail, National Post, Maclean's, Much
Music) and speaks to national corporations (Maple Leaf Foods, Motorola,
Doritos, PepsiCo, etc.) to provide insight into connecting and motivating
Generation Y.

A Youth / Generation Y expert, corporate / family consultant, motivational
speaker, and author, Dr. Karyn's style is dynamic and inspiring. Her gift is
communicating playfully, passionately and pragmatically. Dr. Karyn's mission is
to truly understand what makes Generation Y 'tick' (deciphering their thoughts,
feelings, and actions) so she can help them and those who work with them
(families & companies) understand and motivate them to reach their greatest
leadership potential.

Over the last 12 years, Dr. Karyn has done extensive media
work<http://www.drkaryn.com/media.php> related to helping others understand
Generation Y. For the last four years, Dr. Karyn has been the expert on the
national TV show, "The Mom Show<http://www.drkaryn.com/tv.php>". She has also
shared her advice on her own radio talk-show, "Bridging the Gap", (Newstalk
1010 CFRB) and in Canadian Living Magazine. For three years she hosted and
executive produced her own international music talk-show "Spill Your Guts",
(Global Canwest), interviewing top rock stars and celebrities (Sum 41, Vince
Carter, 98 Degrees, Matchbox 20) about their personal obstacles and the lessons
they learned as teenagers. She is also a regular contributor to several TV
shows (Entertainment Tonight Canada, Globlal Canwest, Breakfast Television)
about understanding this generation.

For 14 years, she has consulted with youth and their parents at her private
practice. Her unique and 'out of the box' wellness studio, called 'dkb coaching
& wellness studio' is in the Upper Beaches, Toronto. She has spent over 7000
hours there listening to Generation Y's sharing their experiences and stories,
and offering wisdom and insight in return.

Please join us at Leaside High School, 200 Hanna Road on Tuesday, June 1st,
2010. The evening will run from 7pm - 9pm.

In lieu of any cost for the evening, donations are welcome for Dr. Karyn's
"Highschools for a Haiti Project" - a very worthwhile cause in earthquake
ravaged Haiti.
