Dear Parents & Guardians,
NT`s Student Council has arranged a ``semi-formal`` dance for students on Thursday, November 13 (note: the next day is a professional development day for teachers, and students are not required to attend school on Nov. 14). The event will occur at the Rosehill Lounge from 7:00-11:00 p.m. Your son or daughter will receive an official event ticket as proof of attendance. The semi-formal is a school event, supervised by administration, teaching staff, police officers and security. Students are expected to follow all elements of the "code of conduct" during this event. For instance, if any student attending is deemed to be "under the influence" of alcohol or other substance; or in possession of intoxicants, you will be notified and they will lose their opportunity to attend the dance (as well as face other consequences). This would be unfortunate and we hope that you will remind your son or daughter of this.
