A Message from the NTCI Parents Mailing List: We invite you to join us at the next North Toronto CI Parent Council event. Please note the start time is at 7:30 p.m. When? Wednesday, January 21st, 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Where? Room 215 In addition to hearing reports and updates from parent, student and staff reps, we will host the following guest speaker presentation: TEENS AND MENTAL HEALTH Hear from our speaker Denise Lawee about some of the issues that teens are struggling with in today’s society. Denise will help you understand the brain development of a teen and will talk about concerns to watch for and the resources and supports that are available, if needed. She offers advice on how to keep the door open so that parents know what is happening with their teen. Denise Lawee is a registered social worker with over 25 years of experience in the field. She currently works at Delisle Youth Services and does individual, family and group therapy. This special event is brought to you by the North Toronto School (Parent) Council. Attending these meetings is an excellent way to keep current on NT activities and to share information with other NT parents.
