Acknowledgements and Upcoming Events Upcoming Events for parents and students at North Toronto Sept 20 Mini-Night for Parents Mini-Night, NT's curriculum night, begins at 6:00pm for timetable pick-up; classes begin at 6:30 pm. Teachers will provide a brief overview of their courses and student expectations for the school year. Additional information has been sent home with students. Please mark this date on your calendar! Sept 21 Late start; classes begin at 10am. Music council retreat. Sept 24 Terry Fox Run In honour of Terry Fox, all NT students will participate in an honorary walk or run around the track to commemorate the life and accomplishments of Terry Fox. Sept 24 Club Fair Students will learn about the various clubs and teams that are recruiting for new members for the current school year. Sept 24 Parent Council Meeting Please join us at our first Parent Council meeting in room 215 at 7:30 pm. Meet the school administration and the student council reps, receive a calendar with school events, meet the staff reps for the school year! Sept 25 Staff meeting; late start. Classes start at 10am. Sept 28 Orange Day. The NT community will recognize the victims and survivors of Indigenous residential schools with school assemblies.
