>From Public Health!
Toronto Public Health is assessing student immunization records to ensure
student vaccinations are up-to-date according to their age. Students who are
not yet in compliance with the Immunization of School Pupils Act have been sent
a letter requesting updated immunization information to their home address.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to report their child's updated immunization
to Toronto Public Health online at the following link:
toronto.ca/studentvaccines. The system is secure, fast and easy to use.

>From the NTCI School Parent Council!
Many thanks to our Guidance Counsellor, John Taylor, for such an informative
and enlightening grade-by-grade overview at last Monday's meeting on how to
help our children build resilience and prepare for post-secondary education.
Thank you all who came out to the meeting! It was great to have such a large
turnout! The Parent Council Executive is lining up more speakers for this
year. Stay tuned!
Please note: The November 25 Parent Council meeting is cancelled to accommodate
a discussion taking place in the North Toronto auditorium from 6:00p.m. to 9:00
p.m. with City Councillors Josh Matlow, Mike Colle, and Jaye Robinson about
neighbourhood development and safety concerns. Please join us there!

As well, please join the North Toronto community on Nov. 26th at 6:30pm at
Lawrence Park CI for Trustee Shelley Laskin's ward forum. Topics will include
the TDSB's revised long-term Program & Accommodation strategy with a
presentation and discussion lead by Dan Castaldo, senior manager of planning.
The goal of the evening is to put the planning and development conversation
regarding the Y/E area in context, discuss enrollments and system changes.

Following that, our next Parent Council meeting is on January 27 at 7:30 p.m.
in room 215. Please save the date!
