But none of my other scripts do that... I create smtp names all the time. Same Exchange server.

At least in my experience, when you give Exchange an Internet message that references an address Exchange knows about, Exchange uses its internal display name for the address, and discards whatever display name was provided in the RFC-822 headers. -- Ben
