Flash really needs some serious work. All I see Adobe doing is patching the
patches and preparing to patch the next set of patches once the previous set of
patches didn’t correctly patch the issue that was patched itself two versions
ago. But it’s still widely used by Yahoo and others.

It's specific to the Flash Add-on. I've disabled all other add-ons, none of
which are privacy, and if the Flash Add-on is enabled, it still won't work. It
is only resolved if I disable the Flash add-on.

Are there any add-ons enabled? Googling around a bit results in similar
problems caused by some privacy add-ons.

Pop up blocker on? Zone settings (does it work in trusted, if so work
backwards on each setting to find what is different)? If it’s only that
address, has she tried recreating the address list entry?

But seriously, do you by chance use Ghostery on that PC?

OK, so the wife was complaining again about our home computer. Says she can't
send e-mails on our main computer( uses Yahoo mail) but it works fine on our
secondary system and from her iPhone. Found out that if she tries to reply to a
specific address ( her sister) from this computer, you get this:

"Yahoo! Mail found the original email, but encountered problems displaying it.
Please try again later"

And it won't populate the "To" field. Also if she tries to compose a new e-mail
and picks her sisters address from the contact list.... won't populate the "To"
field. No other addresses seem to exhibit this issue. I found that this seems
to be something to do with the Flash Add-on 11.7.700. If I disable this the
problem goes away. This is a Windows 7 64-bit box with IE 9. I've tested it in
both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions of IE, same results.

Anybody else ever see anything like this? Very weird.
