you can use netmon from MS and apply a basic filter to destination IP  of the 
server


then after a few minutes you can go through the capture and see what ports are 
in use

So I have a 2003 server that someone neglected to turn on the firewall.  I want 
to leave it allowing all and just log connections for a bit to see what I need 
to open up.  For the life of me I can't see how to do this on a 2003 firewall.
