Good question. I don't believe it is but I have nothing to compare it with. The owner sent me a notification that there was a low level of idle time. I'll check with him to see how long he has been getting these messages.

I've done malware and virus scans but that hasn't helped. I've rebooted and no luck there. I see random processes each taking their turn at putting a load on the processor. The load just goes up and down but averages about 50%. The server has the following roles: AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, File services... I really don't know how to troubleshoot this.
