I agree I too think they are sure trying to go that route but I kind of doubt 
they will get it to stick world wide.  Too many bad actors are using it.

Yes, the government uses the inflation tax every day.

I forgot to add about bitcoin - the government can outlaw it, and probably 
will, from the looks of things.
