Hi all,

I have a few questions regarding an upcoming mail migration. We have a
client who is currently on an in-house Exchange 2010 server. They are
potentially moving to Office 365. We've had some good results with
migration tools in the past so that part should be covered. My questions
are regarding the local users and their Outlook/mobile device email
accounts. Ideally we'd like to reduce the amount of work required for each
end user. Is it possible, when performing a migration of this kind, for the
users to continue to use their existing Outlook profile (active sync
accounts as well)? If so, what needs to happen for this to work? If not,
what are some steps we can take to reduce the amount of re-configuration
for each user? I've done some reading about a hybrid Exchange/Office 365
setup but it seems to me that the profile will still need to be
re-configured once you make the final cut over. On that note, can anyone
comment on why you would use a hybrid environment and whether or not
something like that would help here?

Thanks!

Jeremiah
