So apparently I need to install the Win8/Win2012 ADMX templates, in
order to gain access to new RDS settings. I'm reading "Managing Group
Policy ADMX Files Step-by-Step Guide"
<http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc709647(v=ws.10).aspx>

and it is less than clear to me what I need to do, and where I need to
do it from ...

I have a Win2008 R2 forest and domain. I personally have a Win 7
desktop that I manage the domain from (using RSAT, etc). So I guess I
want to use "Scenario 2 - Editing Domain-Based GPOs Using ADMX Files",
so that any of my fellow net admins who may need to edit GPOs in
future will have access to these new templates/settings?

However, what is downloaded is an MSI file. The instructions above
seem to indicate copying something that isn't an MSI to a new
sub-folder in the SYSVOL. So do I need to install this MSI on my DC,
and then find whatever files it installs, and copy them to this new
SYSVOL sub-folder?

This <http://www.petri.co.il/adding_new_administrative_templates_to_gpo.htm>
seems to indicate otherwise. That says to install on my Win 7
workstation, and the new templates are automatically copied to the
domain. However, this talks about new ADMs, and the Win8/Win2012
templates are ADMX (if I understood correctly). And what I have is an
MSI.

So what should I do? Is there a web tutorial or video that actually
shows me this, in a similar configuration to what I have?

Thanks. Sorry if it seems that I am being unduly clueless ...
