If I have a server with two physical NIC adapters that will have Windows 2012 R2 on it and will host 2 VM, should I build a NIC team for all three servers or just allow one of the VMs to share a NIC with the Host?
I was thinking of using a team, but now I'm not so sure. In the past I've always made sure I've had a NIC for every VM plus one for the host. This is the first time I'll be short one NIC.
