+1 for Netwrix.  Using Exchange Auditor, AD Change Auditor, Group Policy Change 
Auditor.  Account Lockout tool is now free, but it breaks regularly, so you may 
want to consider if you really need it.

No hidden costs for us.  We purchased a little over a year ago, I know their 
products are packaged a bit differently now.  But I use their AD and Group 
Policy Auditor and their Logon Reporter product.

We use Netwrix for AD auditing.  Very easy to set up and use.  You should be 
able to try a full demo before buying it.
