I really like Synology NAS devices – they have a friendly interface and they have good products and support. While I haven’t done this personally (I remote into my computer to access files on my home network), it appears that you can access your files remotely with the Synology software too like the WD MyCloud solution: http://www.synology.com/en-global/dsm/business_file_sharing_webdav_caldav -Aakash Shah From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rankin, James R Sent: Wednesday, December 25, 2013 8:05 AM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: [NTSysADM] [NTSysAdmin] home storage with web access? From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> I'm looking for a home storage product like a NAS or similar that I can backup my various computers' files but also access them remotely if needed to work on them remotely. Something like Office 356 shared files would be nice with a local storage component. I have Mozy but it seems only geared towards backup up and restoring. I need something so if I move to another computer, I can get to the files cloud storage or local storage.
