Thanks for the responses guys.

I'll remember those options if it falls over again.

Did you try a repair first?

Just to let you know I re-installed Outlook and it fixed the problem.

Subject: [NTSysADM] Weird Outlook 2007 issue

Hi guys,

Got a strange Outlook 2007 issue with one user, all the rest are fine.

Running under windows 7 fully updated and office also fully patched.

Back end is single exchange server 2003.

User came to me a couple of days ago explaining to me that his public

folders had disappeared. After making sure the user had clicked folder

list they had indeed vanished.

I started Outlook in safe mode and they come back. I proceeded to disable

all add-ons (com, exchange extensions) and started Outlook normally. Public

folders will not show and will only reveal themselves if I start Outlook in

safe mode.

Ran the Office diagnostics and it reports no problems.

I'm going crazy with this...anyone seen this before?

Any help would really be appreciated.

David
