I doubt it will do anything. For 99% of the world it does nothing that can't be 
done using existing technologies or currencies.

Not really new, but interesting. Latest news is one of the Bitcoin pioneers is 
under charges for a drug ring and money laundering.

I've seen some high-profile businesses and Pro sports teams recently start 
accepting Bitcoins as payment. How it all shakes out, remains to be seen. It 
does have the potential to unify the world economy, but it also has the 
potential to crash it.
