22 years at Microsoft behind him.....hardly a great sea-change then

Admittedly that may not be what they need, an outsider - after all Jobs
returned to the helm of Apple and dragged them back up - but I thought to
reinvent themselves as a devices and services company they'd need a fresh
approach..
