I have a customer who has repeated - what appears to be - cable modem
disconnects.  But, when this occurs, I can access the vendor's cable modem
remotely, but nothing beyond it.  The modem is connected to a Cisco RV082,
then two a few netgear switches.  This is a small office, maybe 10 staff.

The Cisco has been replaced but the issue keeps occurring.  All users get
disconnected from the Internet at once, then they restart the equipment,
and it's fine.

Anyone have any suggestions for free or cheaper monitoring software?  I'm
not sure it is the cable modem and need to do some monitoring first.
