Interestingly I just heard a similar content from a coworker regarding the
number of advertisements.  I guess I have always accepted that as part of
the whole.  On (rare) occasion I'd even found products to fill a need via
those same ads.

Probably a certain amount of conditioning on my part (age) though as I
still have memories of taking a magazine and shaking it over a trashcan to
get rid of all the loose inserts.  ;)
