I'm looking into iSCSI for a backup target. What's an inexpensive way to get 1TB (2x1TB RAID1) of iSCSI? I can do something like old PowerEdge towers with free 2012R2 Hyper-V and iSCSI target software and new SATA drvies for about $500, the main downside being it's used hardware.
Does anyone have experience with a NAS device configured to use iSCSI? Dave
