We use a tool called Adaxes, it does the exact same thing it sounds like the
script does but also has self-service password reset features so the user can
answer some security questions and their password will reset for them. In
theory, our helpdesk should never get password reset calls, in practice it
doesn't work quite that way.

I use the one from MBS. Bob Free and someone else linked to it. Very nice,
runs as a scheduled task on one of my DCs, and simply works. Sends an e-mail
to the user, CCs me (I have them auto filed), and sends me a report each day of
all user accounts and how long until expiration.

Where does it run?
And Can I see it?

I have a script that runs each morning and e-mails everyone with a password
expiration of 14 days or less.

Subject: [NTSysADM] Expiring Passwords

I am not sure what I have done in my Environment, AD 2008, Windows 7 Pros' but
my Your Password is about to expire message hasn't worked since going to Window
7.

I am asking what does everybody else use to keep their users informed of their
password is about to expire?

I'll wait for your replies.
Thanks
David
