Strawman, no; misunderstand the import of his thought, perhaps.

But, if that's what he meant, then here's my response: If it's an
addin/plugin, which is what it looks like to me from reading the blog
post, then, given the presence across both Firefox and Chrome of many
plugins with the same name and functionality and same author, it seems
reasonable to believe it won't be hard to duplicate.
