I know this is an obvious question, but it's easy to assume and not check:  Are 
you certain that Domain Admins is still a member of domain administrators on 
the box where you're trying to update the drivers?  We have had instances where 
other server admins have removed that group!  (Not since we set them straight 
though.)

Why all of a sudden does my domain admin account not have permission to install
