Yes…definitely. I use one now when at a desk.

 

It’s a standard USB. Consider the SP3 as any normal computer. Whatever works 
for another computer will work for the SP3.

The SP3’s kickstand is fully adjustable now and I use it in my lap quite a bit 
throughout the day, but mostly when finalizing the day's work and preparing for 
the following morning’s work sitting in bed at night. So, the new version does 
work well.

Do you always travel where there is a static work surface (no pun 
intended) or do you ever work where your lap is your work surface?

The biggest disadvantage for me personally is the touchkeypad/kickstand 
needs something to sit on.

My old laptop I could use my lap when sitting on a train/plane/bus, etc.
