I can remember my grandparents using terms like Murray-5  as a prefix to a 
telephone number.
I also used telephone handsets and batteries when I was stringing communication 
cables back in the day.  No cell phones back then.  And better than 
walkie-talkies because you didn’t have to push-to-talk.
